June 2021 - Present

GlobalFoundries

In the summer of 2021, GlobalFoundries, a leading multinational semiconductor manufacturer, strategically rebranded itself to reflect its diverse chip portfolio. As a Global Marketing and Sales Enablement Intern with a focus on solutions (technical) marketing and co-marketing, I interfaced with various teams to create branded marketing collateral. I was also heavily engaged in brand and event marketing & management.

Web Copies

As part of GF's rebranding project, I conducted a large-scale makeover for GF's corporate web copies. To present an accurate account of semiconductor processes, I conducted extensive research online and interviews with GF staff and translated heavily technical concepts into lay terms for my understanding. With that, I revitalized various external-facing technical collateral like web copies, solution briefs, white and technical papers, etc.. Check some of them out:

2021 GlobalFoundries Technology Summit

The 2021 GF Technology Summit offers an opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities in semiconductor design and manufacturing, learn about new technologies and solutions, and discover new ways to collaborate, partner, and invest so that GF and its partners and customers can deliver more innovation, more capabilities, more intuitive interaction, more intelligence, and more feature-rich solutions.

To boost audience engagement, I proposed several tactics to company leadership which were implemented. One such proposal was the inclusion of interactive polls that displayed questions related to the session at hand. Every session attendee across the four regions (North America, Europe, China, APAC) had 30 seconds to answer the questions via a Slido integration. This trivia tactic is an attempt to enhance audience interactivity, and was positively received by attendees, as indicated by event reports. I created 32 slide decks for the polling questions, as displayed below, and all were used in the event around the world.

... and more to come!
